Verdusella Cave
The Greek sailors used the term Leukos to refer to the white cliff that gives its name to what we now call Leuca. It would later become Santa Maria di Leuca, probably due to the cult linked to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria de Finibus Terrae, the land marking the boundary of the Roman territories.
In this strip of land, one can admire high and jagged cliffs, small golden bays interrupting the low rocks, and the famous karst caves.

Eastern Coast
These are small caves, not very deep but characterized by a crystal-clear seabed and a thousand shades of blue.
