After a brief stop at Grotta Cazzafri, we change course to reach the Ionian side. We will cross the bay of Leuca, nestled between Punta Meliso and Punta Ristola, to enjoy the sunset from the southernmost point of Puglia. From here, we can admire the spectacular nineteenth-century villas and the so-called “bagnarole,” stone changing rooms that ensured privacy for ladies during their sea baths. The first cave encountered on the western side, near Punta Ristola, is Grotta Porcinara, immediately followed by Grotta del Diavolo. The excursion continues with Grotta del Fiume, Grotta delle Tre Porte, the Caverna dei Giganti, Grotta della Stalla, and the majestic Grotta del Drago.
